Attention, students at the University of Kentucky! Season ticket passes for the 2022 football season and 2022-23 basketball season will soon be available for purchase. UK announced the news on Friday that students will have the option to purchase season passes for both sports along with single-game tickets. A UK student ID will be required when making any transaction.

If you’re looking for a cost-efficient route, buying the tickets in bulk is the way to go. A season pass for all eight home football games will run you $70 ($8.75 per game) while $180 will get you into all of the home basketball games. While we don’t know at this moment exactly how many home games will be played at Rupp Arena this coming season, a typical slate includes anywhere from 19-25 home games. So it’ll likely be under $10 per game if you go with the season pass.

According to UK’s website, single-game tickets for both football and basketball will sell for $11-15 each. It doesn’t specify which game will cost more, but we can assume the better the competition, the more expensive the ticket. UK also mentions single-game guest tickets, which will be handed out based on availability after students have had access to the tickets first. The price on those tickets will vary game-by-game and does not require a student ID to get in.

If you’d like to request the season pass for either sport (or both), the window to do so runs from the week of July 25-29 and is set up by last name. The window officially closes Friday, July 29 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Students will be notified if they were selected or not by Monday, August 1. Students can make the request through their My UK Athletics Student Account.
