Uniform combo, hype video released for Florida-Kentucky
Tomorrow’s uniform combination has been announced.
Kentucky football will rock the all-blue look for Saturday’s showdown against No. 22 Florida. The Wildcats are set to sport blue helmets, blue jerseys, and blue pants when they host the Gators at Kroger Field. This will be the first time this season Kentucky has rocked the all-blue look. Kickoff is set for noon EST on ESPN.
The last time Kentucky wore the all-blue look was during last season’s Music City Bowl loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes. The ‘Cats also wore this combination during last season’s 27-17 win at home against No. 16 Mississippi State. Can UK recreate that same magic on Saturday?
Florida-Kentucky hype video
Need some extra energy to get you to kickoff? How about this perfectly executed hype video from UK?
Narrated by junior linebacker Trevin Wallace — the hero during Kentucky’s 20-13 win over Florida in 2021 that broke a 35-year losing streak to the Gators in Lexington — he takes us through some of Kentucky’s biggest moments against Florida over the last few years. For those unaware, UK has won two in a row against the Gators and three of the last five. A win on Saturday would give Kentucky its first three-game winning streak over Florida since the Wildcats’ four-game streak from 1948-51.
Get hyped and get ready to watch the ‘Cats eat some Gator on Saturday. It’s almost game time.
