The Big Dog isn’t leaving Lexington anytime soon.

According to KSR’s Matt Jones, Kentucky Football associate head coach Vince Marrow has agreed to a three-year extension worth “7 figures a year” to remain with the program.

Marrow, who has been on the Kentucky staff since 2013, made $900,000 in 2021 and was scheduled to receive the same amount in 2022. The Youngstown, OH native started his career with the Wildcats as the tight ends coach before being promoted to recruiting coordinator in 2014 and then associate head coach in 2019.

This news comes on the heels of two other Kentucky assistants, offensive coordinator Liam Coen and defensive coordinator Brad White, who also received sizable raises heading into 2022. Head coach Mark Stoops additionally earned an extension in mid-December, which included a large pay bump and a $6.5 million money pool for his assistants.

Stoops has wasted no time putting that money to good use and keeping Vince Marrow around was a no-brainer.
