Vote Rhyne Howard to the 2022 WNBA All-Star Game

Rhyne Howard has a great chance to make the WNBA All-Star Game as a rookie. Through 15 games as a professional, she sure looks deserving of a spot.
Fan voting for the 2022 All-Star Game, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 10 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, is officially open. Voting began Friday, June 3, and will continue until Monday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Much like the NBA does with its All-Star Game, fan voting accounts for 50 percent of the overall ballot, with players and members of the media accounting for 25 percent each.
The first batch of votes that came in on June 10 saw Howard collect the 11th most of any player with 8,516. Only 22 hoopers make the roster, meaning the former ‘Cat is one pace to crack the team as a first-year player.

Howard, who was drafted by the Atlanta Dream with the No. 1 overall pick in April, has already exceeded early expectations. The 6-foot-2 former Kentucky Wildcat leads Atlanta in points per game (16.3) and minutes per game (30.7) while starting in all 15 appearances for the 7-8 Dream. She’s already won Eastern Conference Player of the Week and Rookie of the Month, etching her name in the history books along the way with impressive scoring outbursts.
To go along with her 16.3 points per game, Howard also averages 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 40.4 percent from the field, a 39.0 percent from distance on over seven attempts per game, and 72.1 percent from the free-throw line.
