Wan'Dale Robinson expected to play Sunday for New York Giants
It was over a month ago now that New York Giants rookie WR Wan’Dale Robinson was listed as “day-to-day” by head coach Brian Daboll. But it sounds like the former Kentucky Wildcat is finally ready to get back on the turf.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Robinson is expected to play on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The second-round 2022 NFL Draft pick caught just one pass in his professional debut during Week 1 action for the Giants, but he injured his knee on that same play and did not return. Robinson is listed as a second-string WR and will provide another weapon for QB Daniel Jones and the 4-1 Giants.
After spending one record-breaking season at Kentucky, Robinson was the No. 43 overall draft pick by the Giants earlier this year. His 104 receptions and 1,334 receiving yards during his junior season at UK in 2021 both set single-season program records. A 5-foot-8 native of Frankfort, KY, Robinson finally appears to be back at full strength.
You can watch Robinson and the Giants take on the Ravens at 1:00 p.m. EST on CBS.
