Wan'Dale Robinson Opens Giants Training Camp as a Starter
Wan’Dale Robinson is starting his NFL career in the right spot.
On the first day of training camp with the New York Giants, Wan’Dale Robinson is a first team wide receiver. Along with Robinson, Dan Duggan reports Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay were first team wide receivers.
The Frankfort native has been making plays since he put on a Giants’ jersey this spring. Head coach Brian Daboll was impressed during OTAs. Dane Belton, a Giants’ fourth round draft pick from Iowa, knows all too well how difficult it is to cover Wan’Dale Robinson.
“I’ve covered him three years — two at Nebraska and one at Kentucky — he’s a real quick player,” Belton told reporters. “Gets in and out of his breaks really well. I think he’s an electric player.”
That electricity was evident at various moments in OTAs.
Rookie of the Year Odds for Wan’Dale Robinson
In one season at the University of Kentucky, Robinson set a pair of new receiving records. He caught 104 passes for 1,334 yards and entered the end zone seven times for the Wildcats.

It’s unlikely that Wan’Dale can produce that quickly for the New York Giants with Daniel Jones at quarterback. However, if Danny Dimes throws plenty of them Wan’Dale’s way, you can turn it into a profit. Robinson is +10,000 to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, according to Circa Sports. If Robinson is a breakout star, you can turn $10 into $1,000 by betting on Wan’Dale. New York Jets RB Breece Hall, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Kenny Pickett and Tennessee Titans WR Treylon Burks are the top three choices at +800.
Wan’Dale Robinson will see his first preseason action when the Giants travel to New England Aug. 11. His NFL debut is close to home. The Tennessee Titans will host the New York Giants at Nissan Stadium Sept. 11 at 4:25 pm ET.
