Wan’Dale Robinson’s decision to transfer to Kentucky has made him quite the local celebrity–which his pockets couldn’t be happier about.

Whispers of a large name, image, and likeness deal for the Frankfort native surfaced Wednesday morning and now we know who coughed up the dough. Friend of KSR, Stockton Mortgage, has signed Wan’Dale Robinson to the largest contract for any University of Kentucky athlete through the early stages of NIL.

This is hardly the first NIL deal for Robinson, who is Kentucky’s star wide receiver and potential Heisman candidate. He also signed a notable deal with Paul Miller Ford in Lexington and started his own clothing line called WR1. And those are just a handful of the deals that we know of.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but if it’s the largest sum of NIL money signed for by a UK athlete yet, one would imagine a hefty haul. A source tells KSR the number is in the six-figure range.

It’s easy to see why Robinson has been such a hot commodity on the NIL market. He leads the Southeastern Conference in receiving with 467 yards to go along with his three touchdowns. The speedy swiss army knife has also carried the ball four times for 78 yards.

Plenty of other Kentucky Football players have signed NIL deals over the last few months, including QB Will Levis, NG Marquan McCall, and the entirety of the Big Blue Wall. More will certainly be on the way.
