WATCH: Aaron Bradshaw warms up for Kentucky
John Calipari says Aaron Bradshaw will not play tonight vs. No. 8 Miami (FL), but the 7-foot-1 freshman sure looks ready to suit up.
After participating in full-contact practice for the first time on Monday, Bradshaw went through a complete pregame warmup routine with his teammates on the floor.
And let me be the first to tell you, he looked good. Really good.
The five-star signee showed off his shooting touch and athleticism around the basket, working out with the Wildcats from the start of shootaround to the very end. Check out KSR’s complete highlights ahead of the opening tip:
Calipari said Bradshaw did well in his first full-contact practice with the Wildcats on Monday.
“We’ve had two good days of practice,” Calipari said ahead of Tuesday’s matchup. “Today, Aaron practiced, so that’s the first time in terms of going (full-contact). He did a little bit of everything. Now, he’s not ready to play tomorrow. … (But) he did good, looks fine. Practiced today and he’s dying to get in there. It’s good, it’s good stuff.”

Bradshaw previously went on Instagram Live on Sunday to confirm he would not play vs. Miami, but did not rule out a return beyond the mid-week matchup.
“I’m not allowed to say it, but I’ll give you weeks — like a week,” Bradshaw said late Sunday evening. “‘Are you playing Tuesday?’ No. I’ve been working out with the team, though.”
What could Bradshaw’s return look like for Kentucky?
“I’m not gonna lie, it’s definitely crazy,” fellow freshman Rob Dillingham told KSR. “You see them, but when they’re actually playing and we have all of our players, it’s kind of like, dang. It’s going to be really hard to stop, man.
“Especially if we learn how to play together and gel together, it’ll be an amazing team, for sure.”
