After winning its first exhibition by 71 points last week, the Kentucky Wildcats will face a tougher opponent in the second and final preseason contest. Minnesota State, the defending Division II national champions, come to Lexington on Tuesday night for the last tune-up ahead of the regular season.

To help prepare us for what’s in store with the Mavericks, which were picked to win its conference with the projected conference Player of the Year in Kyreese Willingham, a couple of UK players spoke with reporters on Monday. Fifth-year forward Andrew Carr and fifth-year guard Lamont Butler sat in front of the cameras to provide their thoughts on last week’s win, tomorrow’s game, and much more.
