Devin Armani Booker is an old soul. He collects vintage cars, enjoys stories from the past, and prefers old-school ’90s-era cameras over iPhones. He is now representing the United States of America for the second time in the Olympics and documenting his adventures on an aforementioned historic camcorder, the likes of which your dad probably used to record you opening Christmas presents as a child.

The nearly three-minute montage posted on Booker’s Instagram features several behind-the-scenes shots of the men’s team on the bus, walking through the streets of Paris, and of course, cruising on a boat across the Seine river with LeBron James doing his best George Washington crossing the Deleware impersonation, holding Old Glory at the bow of the ship. Book took in the moment, calling James, “Captain America” and complimenting him on his posture.

We also get a few glimpses of his fellow Phoenix basketball stud, Diana Taurasi, the proverbial GOAT of women’s basketball who has an incredible five Olympic gold medals hanging in her trophy case, not to mention three FIBA World Cup gold medals as well. Book’s Suns running mate, Kevin Durant, who has three gold medals himself, also gets a good amount of screen time.

Allow your eyes to take a trip back to the 1990s and watch a modern-day behind-the-scenes video that may as well be on a VCR, filmed by one of the best to ever play at Kentucky, Devin Booker.
