WATCH: Benny Snell says his rap career is on hiatus
One of the stories of the offseason has been Benny Snell’s burgeoning rap career, but now that the season is upon us, the sophomore star says he’s on hiatus.
Snell, aka “Benny Tha Bandit,” released a music video for his song “D to the A (Remix)” last month, but wisely took it down after a few hours, likely at his coaches’ behest. Today, Snell played it safe when asked about his music — he’s on hiatus, but has a mixtape planned for the next offseason featuring all the players — but he and his “manager” AJ Rose insisted that Eddie Gran and the rest of the coaches “love” his music and listen to it all the time.

Sadly, Gran wasn’t available for comment. As for Benny, all he’s focusing on now is football.
“Right now, I’m trying to take the upper hand and make the team better,” Benny said. “I want to also make the running back group the best that we can [be]. I’m going to feed off every rep.”
