Watch Big Z go crazy in the Kentucky-Georgia highlights
Kentucky won another basketball game on Saturday, defeating Georgia, 105-96. The win was the Wildcats’ fourth in SEC play, but all the talk from the victory is about one player, Zvonimir Ivisic, for the freshman’s surprise debut. Ivisic made his first game appearance for Kentucky after the NCAA declared him eligible hours before tip-off. He made a quick impact upon receiving the news, checking in four minutes into the game and immediately leaving his mark on the night. By halftime, the 7-foot-2 Croatian sensation had 11 points on 4-for-4 shooting from the field, three rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals in only eight minutes of his first-ever collegiate basketball.
So, you can guess who is heavily featured in UK Athletics’ video highlight reel of the game. It’s Ivisic with 13 points. He also has some good company in the film, as Kentucky crossed the 100-point mark for the first time since the Marshall game in November.
Tre Mitchell (23), Antonio Reeves (22), DJ Wagner (18), and Reed Sheppard (12) joined Ivisic with high-scoring games. See some of the top plays in the highlight reel. Video courtesy of Kentucky Wildcats TV, as always.
