WATCH: CBS Profiles Reed Sheppard and his Family's Kentucky Connection

We can’t get enough of Reed Sheppard. Days after scoring a career-high 32 points and sinking a game-winner at the horn to beat Mississippi State, CBS Sports took a closer look at the Kentucky kid who is living the dream in Lexington.
By now, all of you are more than well aware of his story. Matt Norlander and the CBS cameras share how the son of two former Kentucky Wildcats is a chip off the old block, but with a twist.
“If I get told I play like a girl because of my Mom, then I play like a girl,” Reed said.
CBS dug out old clips from Jeff Sheppard and Stacey Reed’s playing days and make it abundantly clear that this Wildcat gets his scrappiness from his mother. It’s an excellent insight into the exciting Wildcat’s life story.
