Once the score went final, the KSR cameras were on the scene to speak with the Kentucky coaches and players. To compare this to a meal, there was a sense of satisfaction from the team, but they’re still hungry for more.
Devin Leary is proud of the way his teammates played, even though he’s well aware they were far from perfect. Dane Key is confident the Cats will be better in week two. Almost as confident that Barion Brown was taking it to the house when Ball State actually thought it was a good idea to kick the football to him.

Jalen Geiger had not played a football game in 12 months. The safety suffered a season-ending injury last fall at Florida. In his first game back he scored his second career touchdown. He walked through that magical moment before Alex Afari shared what was happening in between his ears when he peeled off and laid out the opponent to force the game-changing fumble.
