Kentucky’s defense has improved at an unexpected rate — and it’s happened during the middle of conference play in a league considered one of the toughest in college basketball history. Over the last nine games, UK ranks 15th in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency, per BartTorvik.
How did Mark Pope pull it off, even amid various injuries? That’s what the Zoom Action crew is here to help explain. We used Kentucky’s regular season finale victory over Missouri as the “good” and compared it to the “bad” from earlier in the season.
