It was a big night at Rupp Arena, La Familia representing Kentucky basketball well to open The Basketball Tournament, taking down 305 Ballers by a final score of 82-56. Kerem Kanter, the younger brother of Enes Kanter, led all scorers with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe and Aaron Harrison each finished with 13 points, followed by Nate Sestina with 12 points, Andrew Harrison with 11, Kellan Grady with six and Willie Cauley-Stein with five points, six rebounds and three blocks.

And it all happened in front of 4,000 fans strong at Rupp Arena, Big Blue Nation showing support for their former favorites.

“Running out there was an unbelievable feeling,” Aaron Harrison said following the win. “I’m not sure many schools in the country could get that many people together, bringing that many people in to see something like this. It’s special to be a part of this.”
