The Wildcats did it, they won the BBN Invitational. Truly a spectacular event unlike any seen in ages, Kentucky had to grind its way to reach the finish line with an 87-68 victory over Western Kentucky on Tuesday night.

Cold from behind the three-point line, Kentucky only sank eight three-pointers, shooting a season-low 27.6 percent. That’s why the Cats have an Otega-Tron.

Otega Oweh bullied his way to the rim to get a hard-earned 18 points. Andrew Carr did his fair share of heavy lifting too, hauling in 18 points and 10 boards.

Kentucky won’t be away from the Rupp Arena floor for long. The Cats get a couple of days off for Thanksgiving, then are back in action Friday night against Georgia State.
