It was a winning Saturday for the Kentucky Wildcats. Things started slow — the Cats only led 3-0 after one quarter — but when the dust settled it was a 41-6 win for the good guys.

Dane Key stole the show. Even though the Kentucky wide receiver was stopped a yard short of the end zone a couple of times and had one huge chunk play overturned by a penalty, the Lexington native tallied a career-high 145 receiving yards on seven receptions. Barion Brown caught five passes for 28 yards and wiggled free for a 35-yard rushing touchdown that served as the dagger.

The defense had a little fun too. The ball finally bounced the Cats’ way and J.J. Weaver recovered a fumble. He could not scoop it for a score, but Maxwell Hairston found a way to find the end zone with a pick six.

See all of those plays and much, much more, accompanied by the call from the Voice of the Wildcats, Tom Leach.
