WATCH: Highlights from Kentucky football's Spring Game
Kentucky football’s Spring Game was held on Saturday at Kroger Field. And while the scrimmage didn’t feature full-on tackling, it was still a chance for fans to get a sneak peek at what Mark Stoops’ squad will look like going into the 2024 season.
For starters, Bush Hamdan’s up-tempo offense was in full effect. Georgia transfer quarterback Brock Vandagriff looked the part. We were able to see backups Beau Allen and Cutter Boley toss the pigskin around, as well. Freshman wide receiver Hardley Gilmore, who has drawn praise all offseason at 17 years old, also made some impressive plays on offense while star defensive back Maxwell Hairston showed up on his side of the field.
