La Familia used an excellent second-half defensive performance to cruise past The Nawf by a final score of 81-64 in the second round of The Basketball Tournament’s Lexington Regional. It was all Kerem Kanter in the first half, as the younger brother of Enes Kanter poured in 19 first-half points before finishing the afternoon with 26 points and nine rebounds.

Eric Bledsoe added 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists while Nate Sestina contributed 15 points on four made triples. Andrew Harrison rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 points. Willie Cauley-Stein chipped in eight points, seven rebounds, and seven blocks to the cause. As a team, La Familia shot 44.8 percent from the field and 9-30 (30 percent) from deep as they outscored The Nawf 50-30 after halftime.
