WATCH: John Calipari's Postgame Comments At Texas A&M
Before the flight home, John Calipari answered questions at Reed Arena about Kentucky‘s loss at Texas A&M. The head coach of the Wildcats began by congratulating the opponent on winning the “hard-fought game,” followed by his disappointment in UK’s youth and experience in blowing a five-point lead on the road.
Calipari admitted to coaching mistakes, too. “I did a bad job down the stretch,” he said. “We have stuff we run, I got away from it… I should’ve done what we do.” He also regrets how Kentucky defended the inbound in overtime.
Other topics in Calipari’s postgame press conference include:
- Kentucky’s fight
- A will to win
- Overtime
- Shot selection
- Adou Thiero
- Rebounding loose balls
- A&M’s performance
- Ugonna Onyenso
- Aaron Bradshaw
