John Calipari was “Swaggy Cal” during his postgame press conference on Saturday night. And why wouldn’t he be?

Kentucky had just beaten No. 9 North Carolina in Atlanta by a final score of 87-83. The Wildcats led for over 37 of the game’s 40 minutes as the freshmen showed some notable poise when the game was still in the balance. Calipari is now 6-1 against North Carolina when the Tar Heels are ranked among the nation’s Top 10. He’s also 4-1 against UNC in the CBS Sports Classic. Pure domination from one Blue Blood onto another.

During his press conference, Calipari praised the efforts of Ugonna Onyenso, who blocked three shots in 10 minutes during his season debut. Calipari also went out of his way to talk about how adding another seven-footer actually didn’t change his team’s offensive approach. Huh, what do you know?
