Kentucky men’s basketball took one on the chin Saturday night. The Wildcats were stunned in impressive fashion by the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks, losing at home by a final score of 80-73.
Head coach John Calipari took the podium after the loss to break down what went wrong for his team. Calipari talked about how the absence of DJ Wagner (who was sidelined with an injury) impacted Kentucky’s playstyle, how his team can’t revert to holding onto the ball too long, how selfishness played a significant role in the outcome, and much more.
