WATCH: Kenny Brooks, Georgia Amoore recap loss to Texas + KSR's Rapid Reaction

No. 8 Kentucky women’s basketball just couldn’t keep pace with No. 3 Texas, losing 67-49 at home on Thursday night.
Memorial Coliseum was packed for the Top 10 SEC showdown, but the Wildcats’ offense (34.7 FG%, 17 TOs) struggled against Texas’ sturdy defense. The Longhorns’ frontcourt overpowered Kentucky on both ends. Texas outrebounded UK 45-28 and won the points in the paint battle 42-24. It was a bit of a wake-up call for the ‘Cats, which have now dropped two straight contests after breaking into the Top 10 on Monday.
