WATCH: Kenny Brooks' introductory press conference as Kentucky WBB head coach
It’s officially official — Kenny Brooks is the new head coach of the Kentucky women’s basketball team.
Brooks was formally introduced as the program’s ninth head coach on Thursday afternoon during a press conference alongside athletic director Mitch Barnhart at the Joe Craft Center. After a glowing opening statement from Barnhart by rattling off all of Brooks’ past achievements, Brooks himself took the microphone to talk about his plans for the program: the hiring process, roster building, NIL, academics, a renovated Memorial Coliseum, and much, much more.
