Kentucky baseball is in a serious groove right now. Despite dropping last weekend’s series to top-five Tennessee at home, the Bat Cats check in at No. 4 overall in the country (and first in the SEC) with high expectations heading into the postseason.

With so much hype and plenty of good vibes surrounding Nick Mingione’s program, Daniel Hager, who covers Kentucky baseball for KSR and is a member of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, has dusted off the ole microphone to provide his thoughts.
