WATCH: Kentucky basketball film breakdown | "Floppy Action"

The KSR YouTube page continues to grow. Today, we’re introducing a brand new series that is a bit different than our usual podcast-style videos.

“Floppy Action” is KSR’s newest basketball breakdown show that will become a regular addition to our channel. Hosted by Brandon Ramsey and myself, with producer Steven Peake making it all work, Floppy Action aims to take our viewers deeper into the Kentucky basketball program from an Xs and Os standpoint. With six years of college coaching under Brandon’s belt, we’ll spend each episode dissecting film from a previous Kentucky game while previewing what’s to come with the Wildcats’ next major opponent.

In the debut episode, we go back a couple of weeks to the Champions Classic game in Chicago against then-No. 1 Kansas. In spite of the loss for Kentucky, there was plenty to like about John Calipari’s new-look offense. Our goal is to take a handful of plays and then break them down a bit further than what we normally see from simply watching the game on TV. We also briefly dive into a clip from the No. 8 Miami Hurricanes’ offense, which come to Rupp Arena on Tuesday night for a primetime showdown on ESPN.
