WATCH: Kentucky Football Fan Day Practice Highlights
Kentucky football fans flocked to the Joe Craft Football Training Facility to get a sneak peak at the Wildcats ahead of the 2023 season. Kentucky Sports Radio’s Steven Peake brought his camera to capture all of the best moments from Fan Day.
KSR almost got ran over during the most impressive play of the day. Sophomore wide receiver Dane Key skied high to catch a one-handed pass from Devin Leary during one-on-one drills.
The new Kentucky quarterback throws a pretty pass. The spiral looks even better in slow-motion. Take a closer look at what Leary is bringing to the table and enjoy the sound of pads popping, with a little commentary from yours truly and Adam Luckett during the team period. It’s not hard to tell the rushing attack has improved, and the Cats are only one week into fall camp.
You’ll notice flashes from a few freshmen. Shamar Porter caught a long ball from Destin Wade and Anthony Brown hauled in a few receptions with the ones. It’s not all wins by the offense too.

Highlights from the Trenches
You can take an even closer look at fan day practice, thanks to our friends at Ky Wildcats TV. The UK video crew mic’d up Eli Cox during the event. The Nicholasville native is a professional behind the microphone. You get to see how he coaches up his group, but also the sillier side of Kentucky’s starting right guard.
