WATCH: Kentucky Football's Open Practice Highlights
This past Saturday, Kentucky Football welcomed its fans through the gates of the Joe Craft Football Training Facility to watch one of the team’s last Saturdays of spring ball. The open practice format was set up to replace the traditional Blue-White Spring Game, which was unable to be played this year due to turf renovations across the parking lot at Kroger Field.
In its place, fans turned out in the strong winds to watch some behind-the-scenes work as the Wildcats prep for the upcoming summer and then the 2023 season in the fall.
Hit play on the video to see the defense win the day as the offense struggled to air it out in the windy weather conditions. Still, it was a fun day in Lexington for fans of Mark Stoops’ program.

Mark Stoops after Saturday’s practice
Once practice wrapped up on Saturday, Mark Stoops reviewed all that he saw on the field in an interview with the media. Stoops said, “Pretty tough day to see exactly what we have with that wind blowing the way it was. That makes it difficult to get the ball down the field.
“Get some completions. I thought we started fast. I thought Devin looked good on the RPOs, quick game.”
