John Calipari revamped his coaching staff over the offseason through the additions of Orlando Antigua and Ron “Chin” Coleman–and so far, so good. The early results have seen the formation of a deep and talented roster plus the return of recruiting at the highest level possible. Expectations are sky-high once again for the Wildcats and these two well-respected assistants are hoping to bring the program back to the top.
Not only are Antigua and Coleman excellent recruiters and stellar on-court coaches, but they both bring back the “swag” that was missing from the program over the last few seasons. We remember Coach O from his first stint in Lexington at the beginning of the Calipari-era here in Lexington, but Coleman is still a fresh face.
