Throughout the weekend, Kentucky men’s basketball has hosted multiple summer camps, one of which (the Father-Daughter camp) is even happening today. Putting aside the drama surrounding Aaron Bradshaw‘s foot injury (which I won’t dive into for the sake of brevity), a common theme coming out of these camps on the courts of the Joe Craft Center is that the incoming freshmen are a ton of fun to be around.

Friday and Saturday were the Father-Son Camps, which allowed boys aged 7-17 and their fathers to interact with the current Wildcats while learning some basketball tips and tricks from them along the way. KSR was in attendance to check out the fun where videographer Steven Peake captured some cool moments between players and fans.

In particular, Bradshaw appears to be the most outgoing of the bunch (KSR photographer Dr. Michael Huang would agree) as he was blocking shots from young campers, celebrating their made shots, and even hopping behind the lens of a LEX18 camera.

From the looks of it, a handful of Kentucky players featured on the 2023-24 roster participated in the camps, including Bluegrass native and four-star freshman Reed Sheppard, who was once a camper of his own at this event back in the day. Freshman Jordan Burks, who hasn’t even been committed to UK for a full week yet, was also involved in the camps, as were the likes of fifth-year senior Brennan Canada, sophomore Ugonna Onyenso, and freshmen DJ Wagner and Robert Dillingham.

Check out all of the camp action from this weekend below. It sure looks like the Big Blue Nation can expect an entertaining team off the court that should be easy to root for on it.
