WATCH: Kentucky players put L's down in front of Rupp Arena crowd after Louisville win
Another win for Kentucky over Louisville, another reason to put the L’s down…
The Wildcats took care of the Cardinals 93-85 on Saturday night in Rupp Arena, fueled by 33 points on a perfect 10-10 shooting performance from MVP Lamont Butler. As expected — even with two new head coaches roaming the sidelines — there was plenty of chippiness throughout. So when that final buzzer sounded and Kentucky was named the winner of this rivalry for the third straight time, the celebration was on.
In the immediate aftermath of the victory with the Big Blue Nation cheering on their ‘Cats, the Kentucky players sent off Louisville in the only way this fan base knows how: by putting the L’s straight down. Nearly every single UK player busted out the anti-Lousiville gesture, which was met with pure joy from the crowd.
