Kentucky basketball has seen better days. Big Blue Nation experienced the beginning of the end of the John Calipari by watching the Wildcats exit early from the SEC and NCAA Tournaments. It was painful.
Now we’re revisiting those awful moments to dissect and detail where exactly things went wrong for John Calipari at Kentucky, starting with the Covid cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Tournament. The following year we saw an abysmal 9-16 season. “It was like Covid never ended,” Steven Peake narrated.
KSR’s resident videographer has been hard at work over the summer producing this excellent series on the Calipari era. He detailed the amazing first six years where Calipari was king, then showcased the mixed results that followed the 40-0 shortcoming in 2015.
