KSR celebrated Kentucky’s road win over Missouri with the perfect backdrop.

Following the Wildcats’ 91-83 victory in Columbia, MO for the regular season finale, a large group of UK fans stuck around afterward for the chance to see Mark Pope and some players. They received much more than just a look at the head coach though. Pope spent over 30 minutes talking with, signing autographs for, and taking pictures with every member of the Big Blue Nation still left in Mizzou Arena. He even had the remaining fans sing Happy Birthday to one lucky individual — a core memory that won’t soon be forgotten.

That was our view as Jack Pilgrim and I filmed our Rapid Reaction. Come for the analysis of Kentucky’s huge win, stay for the love Pope showed the fans who made the long trip to CoMo.
