WATCH: KSR Rapidly Reacts to La Familia's exit from TBT

La Familia’s first-ever run in The Basketball Tournament didn’t end how we all wanted, but it was undoubtedly a fun ride along the way. The group of former Wildcats came up short in the semifinals against Carmen’s Crew, losing 76-70 on Friday night in Philadelphia.
Regardless of the outcome, La Familia’s run was one for the books. Three straight wins in Rupp Arena followed by the biggest game in TBT history (a win over Louisville’s alumni team, The Ville, in Freedom Hall) won’t be forgotten anytime soon. The expectation is the Kentucky alums will run it back again next summer. We’re already looking forward to it, as well.
