WATCH: KSR travels to Atlanta to watch Kentucky take down Duke
What’s it like to join the KSR crew on a basketball roadtrip — specifically one to watch Kentucky upset Duke in the Champions Classic? It’s a good time, to put it lightly. You just had to be there, celebrating the win in a sea of the correct shade of blue, Mark Pope’s first statement victory with the Wildcats.
KSR’s Steven Peake gave Big Blue Nation a behind-the-scenes look at the adventure down to Atlanta, a trip that included stops to chat with 5-star recruits Caleb Wilson and Jasper Johnson before soaking in all of the sights and sounds at State Farm Arena.

You get to enjoy all of the highs and lows, right when you think the Wildcats are headed toward a blowout loss and when the momentum flips in the underdog’s favor. There are the pregame nerves, followed by the postgame celebration with the coaches, players and even Mitch Barnhart.
Oh, and KSR almost got stuck inside the building trying to find a way out. That was fun.
