WATCH: KSR's 1-on-1 interview with Kentucky WBB junior guard Cassidy Rowe
With the regular season quickly approaching, KSR sat down with Kentucky women’s basketball guard Cassidy Rowe to talk about her as a person and as a player.
Last season, Rowe played in 31 games while starting 16 of them. As a sophomore, she averaged 2.6 points, 1.3 assists and one rebound while logging 17.4 minutes per game.
Rowe hails from the small town of Virgie, KY — a town with a population of just 522 people as of the 2022 census. Despite her upbringing, Rowe fought through the adversity and setbacks, and now she’s heading into her third year at Kentucky.
The 5-foot-5 junior is expected to be one of the team’s leaders this year, both on and off the court.
