Kentucky moved to 7-0 in the Mark Pope era by beating the Panthers of Georgia State on Friday night in Rupp Arena. The first half was close for a bit before a big run pulled the Wildcats ahead to a 15-point halftime lead. The fun continued in the second half until the final score of 105-67, although the second half had its tension, too. Midway through, a fight nearly broke out between the teams, leading to several technical fouls and a long delay in the game.

As for the actual basketball, not the fighting, Kentucky was led in scoring by Jaxson Robinson with 19, Lamont Butler with 17, Amari Williams with 14, Otega Oweh and Ansley Almonor with 12, and 10 from Koby Brea and Andrew Carr.
