WATCH: KSR's Rapid Reaction to No. 15 Kentucky WBB's narrow win over Purdue Fort Wayne
No. 15 Kentucky was forced to play Purdue Fort Wayne on Monday after getting a huge, thrilling win over then No. 18 Louisville in overtime. Needless to say, this was a trap game coming in, but still, Kentucky hung on for a 79-67 win over the Mastodons.
It wasn’t pretty at times, but Georgia Amoore (23) and Dazia Lawrence (21) both recorded season-highs in the scoring column. It wasn’t the most efficient night for the Cats considering they shot just 40% from the field overall, but making 11 of 25 threes (40%) certainly helped in the end.
Clara Strack and Teonni Key, who had a double-double, came ready to play, combining for 26 points and 19 rebounds with both of them seeing the floor for 30 minutes apiece.

Cassidy Rowe, who had six points on 2-5 shooting from three-point range, really helped swing the momentum in Kentucky’s favor with some hustle plays on both ends of the floor.
