WATCH: KSR's Rapid Reaction to Kentucky WBB's 78-64 win over Georgia
Kentucky went on the road and got a 14-point win over Georgia, but it felt like the Cats left a lot on the table.
Kenny Brooks‘ squad led 23-4 after the first quarter, and it felt like a true route was in store in Athens. Georgia Amoore, who would end the game with 24 points and eight assists, had 11 points through the first period of play. However, in the last three quarters, it just felt like Kentucky got complacent.
The Cats would suffer through periodic scoring droughts which allowed the Lady Bulldogs to get back in the game. Georgia didn’t necessarily play great in the last 30 minutes of the game, but Kentucky certainly didn’t either.

Perhaps the most disappointing part is that it felt like really only Amoore, Clara Strack and Amelia Hassett came to play. You even got a goose egg from Dazia Lawrence in the scoring column. Strack had a team-best 25 points and 12 rebounds, and Hassett recorded 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds of her own in the win.
Still, even with the bad, Kentucky got a good result as the handled business against Georgia.
Tune into KSR’s Rapid Reaction from the game.
