WATCH: KSR's Rapid Reaction to Kentucky WBB's 84-78 win over Belmont
Kentucky’s win over Belmont wasn’t pretty, but in the end, a win is a win.
The Cats struggled to get going early, and they even trailed 39-33 heading into the half. It looked like Georgia Amoore may not have a great game considering she had just three points at the time, but basketball is a game of two halves (and a typical Kenny Brooks halftime adjustment).
Amoore would end up with 23 points, shooting 7-13 from three-point range. We hadn’t really seen her get going like that in the blue and white, but she certainly caught fire against the Bruins. Amelia Hassett, who played in all 40 minutes of the game, had 16 points and 11 rebounds on the night.
Dazia Lawrence continued her great play with 15 points, five assists, five rebounds and three steals, and Clara Strack and Teonni Key added to the stat sheet with 12 points apiece.

It wasn’t the most appealing game to watch, but regardless, the Cats should be well-prepared for conference play (and WKU, too).
Tune in as we give our Rapid Reaction to the win.
