Kentucky handled business on Saturday, beating the WKU Lady Toppers 88-70 to move to 11-1 on the year. The Cats will head into SEC play with just one loss — pretty impressive and pretty important, to say the least.
Before we even get into the actual ins and outs and stats of the game, how about that crowd? Kentucky went undefeated at home in non-conference play, and now, people are excited to see the product that Kenny Brooks and his team are putting out on the floor.
Georgia Amoore and Clara Strack led the way with 21 points apiece. Strack had 12 rebounds to give her a double-double, and Amoore was just shy of one, finishing with nine assists on the night. Saniah Tyler had 11 points on 4-5 (3-4 3PT) shooting in 16 minutes of play as well.
