WATCH: KSR's Rapid Reaction to Kentucky WBB's disappointing 61-55 loss at Texas A&M
Kentucky dropped their first game of SEC play against the Texas A&M Aggies, falling 61-55 on the road.
The main narrative with this game is that Kentucky went 1-18 from three. It took Teonni Key, who had a career night scoring the ball, to give the Cats a three-pointer after missing their first 11 attempts from deep. The North Carolina transfer had 20 points on 8-16 shooting while grabbing nine rebounds along the way.
Georgia Amoore had been on a hot streak coming into this game, but that could not have been more of the opposite in College Station. Amoore had 15 points and five assists on the night, but she shot just 5-18 from the field and 0-8 from three-point range.

When your best and most pivotal player isn’t hitting, that sets a bad tone for the rest of the team.
There is no way to spin the fact that this was a bad loss for the Cats — and there are certainly some things that Kenny Brooks needs to fix before an unforgiving February slate — but there plenty of opportunities to make up for what is currently a Quad 2 loss.
