Watch KSR's Rapid Reaction with fans after Kentucky's comeback win in Seattle
Kentucky pulled off the improbable comeback against Gonzaga in the Battle In Seattle, erasing a 16-point halftime deficit to win by one in overtime. Mark Pope made the halftime adjustments to slow down the Bulldogs’ attack, switching to a zone defense to help spark the second-half run. Jaxson Robinson also played a starring role, scoring 18 points and taking over at point guard with Lamont Butler and Kerr Kriisa injured. Robinson was great late in the game, as was Andrew Carr, who led UK in scoring with 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field.
After the game, KSR roamed outside Climate Pledge Arena for a Rapid Reaction from the scene, where Big Blue Nation spilled onto the streets in celebration. I met a man who watched the second half in the bathroom and several other Kentucky fans excited to escape Seattle with a victory.
