A couple of weeks ago, we met with a trio of fresh faces who will suit up for Kentucky men’s basketball in 2024-25. Those Wildcats were incoming transfers Andrew Carr (Wake Forest), Otega Oweh (Oklahoma), and Ansley Almonor (Fairleigh Dickinson).

On Tuesday afternoon, we met with another group of new Kentucky players: a pair of transfers in Lamont Butler (San Diego State) and Brandon Garrison (Oklahoma State) along with class of 2022 freshman Collin Chandler. All three had plenty to say about their time in Lexington so far, how summer practices have been going, what head coach Mark Pope is like, and much more. Butler even shared an update on his injured toe while Garrison talked about committing to UK right after visiting Arkansas.
