After smashing Wright State in the season-opener on Monday, Kentucky men’s basketball head coach Mark Pope has turned his attention to the Bucknell Bison. The Wildcats will host the Fighting Nate Sestina’s this Saturday in the second official game of the Pope era.

On Thursday, Pope spoke with reporters to give us an idea of what we should expect out of the Bison. He went in-depth on Bucknell and how they operate; a very fast-paced team that runs lots of actions with shooters at all five positions. Pope also touched on some of the statistical benchmarks he hopes his team will reach this season, how his team’s conditioning is coming along, trying not to look ahead to Tuesday’s matchup with No. 7 Duke, and much more.
