WATCH: Mark Stoops' Postgame Press Conference Following UK-Alabama
Mark Stoops was disappointed in the outcome of Kentucky Football‘s huge opportunity against Alabama in Lexington. In his postgame press conference from Kroger Field, Stoops credited the Crimson Tide for being an exceptional football team in the 49-21 result.
“Obviously that’s a very good football team. We didn’t match up very well today,” Stoops noted in his opening remarks.
“There’s nothing average about that team,” he added later in his response to Nick Roush’s question about Kentucky struggling in big games.
