WATCH: Mark Stoops speaks for final time before Georgia road trip
Kentucky is 5-0 and has won each game this season by double-digits. That is not the expectation in Week 6. For the first time this season, the Wildcats will be a betting underdog in a game as this program hits the road to face No. 1 Georgia on Saturday night.
Head coach Mark Stoops spoke with the media one final time before toe meets leather at Sanford Stadium. The Wildcats are ready to play a game with big-time stakes.
“Pretty solid week of practice. Getting some guys healthy,” Stoops said. “The energy level is picking up as the week goes on. We gotta get ready to get started a bit earlier tomorrow.”
“I believe our guys are ready to play. I addressed some things that I wasn’t real pleased with early in the week and they’ve been pretty focused towards the latter part of the week.”
However, no specific injury update was given regarding Barion Brown, Kenneth Horsey, and Tayvion Robinson. Now we play the waiting game.
The talking is over. It’s time to go play football. Will Kentucky improve to 6-0 and beat Georgia for the first time since 2009? We’ll find out on Saturday night.
