Though spring practice ended last week, Kentucky Football is still pumping out content from its 15 practices and today Big Blue Nation was given a closer look into the coaching of new assistant Mike Stoops.

The middle child of the three Stoops brothers, Mike joined younger brother Mark’s staff back in January as the Wildcats’ new inside linebackers coach, in for Jon Sumrall who left for Troy. In this new video, we see Stoops in his first spring in his new role at Kentucky where he coaches the most experienced position on the field.

Count the “goods.”

Prior to teaming up with brother Mark, Mike Stoops was FAU’s defensive coordinator for one season in 2021. Before the Owls, he spent two years as an analyst for Nick Saban at Alabama. He is best known for his eight seasons as Arizona’s head coach from 2004-2011.

How many goods did you count?
