Fresh off the best Kentucky baseball season in six years, Nick Mingione spoke to the media at Kroger Field on Tuesday.
The Cats finished with a 40-21 (16-14) record in 2023, good enough to host a Regional at Kentucky Proud Park. Kentucky won the Lexington Regional by knocking off Indiana in the final before losing to LSU in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.
Mingione touched on many things Tuesday, including position battles, NIL, and what to expect this upcoming season.

Kentucky opens the season on Feb. 16 at USC-Upstate (3:00 p.m. EST). Their first home game at Kentucky Proud Park against Morehead State is on Feb. 20 (4:00 p.m. EST).
